The founding years.
One of Berlin's first techno clubs. Raw. Real. Different. From the very beginning, Matrix stood for freedom, nightlife and a new generation.

2000 – 2003
A new name on the door.
The first matrix berlin mark. Word spreads beyond the techno crowd — more nights, more people, the arches filling up week after week. The club finds its own voice.
One mark. One city.
2003 – 2007
New sounds. New faces.
A move into other genres. More mainstream — a wider crowd. Matrix keeps evolving without forgetting where it came from.

2007 – 2010
Every day. Every night.
By this point already the number one address for Berliners. Everybody knows the club. Matrix becomes a fixture of the city and a place for everyone.

2010 – 2016
Berlin. Day and night.
Nationally at least, one of the most successful and best known clubs. Matrix stands for a way of life that carries far beyond Berlin — the first international attention.
